Restorative, cosmetic & implant dentistry
The treatment you need is set by your situation: how many teeth are missing, how many are damaged, and how badly. Your doctor decides with you at the consultation.
An implant post replaces the root; after a healing period a restoration designed for your mouth is attached to it. One implant carries a crown; several can carry a bridge or a whole arch.

Common questions
A dentist who, after dental school, completed three more years of training in a prosthodontic graduate program. Prosthodontics is one of the dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association, and it covers the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of damaged or missing teeth.
It begins with a comprehensive oral examination, including dental radiographs, and a review of your dental and medical histories. The doctor then develops a treatment plan with you, and our front office gives you a detailed list of fees before anything is started.
All-on-4 is a treatment concept developed by Nobel Biocare in which a fixed complete bridge is supported by four implants. It suits people missing all or most of their teeth, including some without a great deal of jawbone, and a temporary bridge can be placed the same day. Your doctor decides whether you are a candidate at the consultation.
A complete denture rests on the gums. An overdenture is also removable, but it is held by dental implants, so it stays put when you eat, speak and smile, and the implants help prevent the bone loss that follows missing teeth.
Sticky or hard food and aggressive flossing can dislodge a temporary restoration. If it happens, call the office straight away and we will gladly re-cement it. For a serious or life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
